Annie Bobbitt

Lead Gallery Educator

Education

Annie Bobbitt (she/her) is the Lead Gallery Educator. Annie joined the BMA in 2020 when she assisted in the creation of a virtual tour program in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. While still visiting classrooms and sharing the BMA’s collection virtually, most often you can find Annie in the galleries leading pre-K through 12th grade students through explorations of artworks, creativity, and imagination. Prior to the BMA, Annie connected visitors to artworks as the Early Learning Specialist at the American Visionary Art Museum and the Education Supervisor at the Walters Art Museum.

Outside of the BMA, Annie spends her time performing and teaching improv comedy and investing time in her ceramics practice. In work and play, Annie strives to live by the motto: less judgement, more curiosity!
