Jenna Paper-Evers (she/her) is the Curatorial Assistant to the Department of Prints, Drawings and Photographs and serves as assistant to the Pre-1960 Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts Accession Committee. Jenna began working at the BMA in March 2021 as a member of the Visitor Services team, and subsequently as a curatorial intern with the Contemporary Department. Before coming to the BMA, Jenna taught Frameworks in Art History at Liverpool John Moores University and held a curatorial internship at the Maryland State Archives Commission on Artistic Property where she digitally catalogued the Archive’s works on paper collection. She completed a BFA in art history at Pratt Institute before moving on to an MPhil in art history at Liverpool John Moores University in the UK. Jenna is a doctoral candidate at Liverpool John Moores University, the Liverpool School of Art and Design, researching the Contemporary Reception of the 19th century British Romanticist J.M.W Turner.
