Katie Cooke (she/her) is the Manager of Curatorial Affairs at the Baltimore Museum of Art. She joined the BMA in 2014 as an intern in the exhibitions department (2014-15), before moving into a series of positions across the museum, including Visitor Services Associate (2016-17), Rental Event Coordinator (2015-18), and Assistant Director of Advancement Events (2017-19). In 2019, she transitioned into the role of Curatorial Assistant to the Chief Curator and Curatorial Division. During her time in this position, Katie has also played a role as curatorial assistant for several exhibitions, including Omar Ba: Political Animals, Salman Toor: No Ordinary Love, Guarding the Art, and Valerie Maynard: Lost and Found. She is originally from Baltimore and received her BA in 2014 from Wake Forest University with degrees in art history and French.
